IT Foundations (Ref: 58664)

What you will study

Within the workshop, you will study two of the most useful IT applications:-
* Word processing
* Spreadsheets (including graphical representation of data)

How you will learn

You will attend an IT workshop once a week and work from textbooks with tutor support and guidance.

How you will be assessed

At the end of each unit of study you will complete a short assessment to demonstrate your knowledge of the skills you have acquired. This assessment is taken within the workshop environment.

Entry Requirements

There are no formal entry requirements but you will be required to pass a literacy assessment at induction.

Attendance

At enrolment you will select the venue and session you would prefer to attend throughout your course. You will then be informed of weekly hours and course length.
