Claims for Accreditation of Prior Learning (APL) and Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning (APEL) are actively supported. The APEL process may facilitate fast tracking on to awards.
Applicants under 21 will need GCSE Grade C or equivalent in English Language and normally also in Maths.
The following entry qualifications are also recognised:-
GCE/VCE Advanced Level and New Nationals. One six-unit qualification at Advanced level, plus three other subjects at GCSE grade C or above.

In the absence of formal qualifications students must be able to demonstrate appropriate levels of numeracy and literacy through the Wakefield College screening process.
