You will complete seven units:-
* Health & Safety
* Maintain Positive Working Relationships
* Workplace Housekeeping
* Inspect, Remove and Replace High Performance Light Vehicle Tyres
* Light Vehicle Front Wheel Alignment
* Inspect and Replace Light Vehicle Suspension
* Inspect and Replace Light Vehicle Braking Systems and Components
Your Course Structure
Classroom based work: 50%; Practical work: 50%
How you will learn
By attending practical and theoretical sessions in our classrooms and state-of-the-art motor vehicle workshops.
How you will be assessed
Ongoing practical assessments conducted in the College's mechanical workshops.
Entry Requirements
Level 1 vehicle fitting/maintenance or equivalent, or suitable previous practical experience. You will also need Level 1 literacy and numeracy qualifications. If you do not possess these, we can assess your current level of literacy and/or numeracy
Course Costs (subject to change)
Tuition and certification are free if you are aged 16-18 years old. Related additional costs may include materials, equipment, visits, residentials etc which are payable by all students.
Any student entered/registered with an Awarding Body who has been given free entry and then withdraws or is withdrawn by a tutor will incur the certification fee associated with the course. Any re-sit examination will incur a cost.
Different fees apply to international students.
