Microsoft Access Module 4 (Half Day)

To learn how to manipulate table relationships in order to produce exception lists and to cross reference data in other tables. Also to work with various batch processes for speedy data updates and to display data both on screen and in print using various presentable formats.

Duration:
Half a day (9:30 am to 12:30 pm or 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm).

Who Should Attend:
Those who are already familiar with producing select queries that include calculations and wish to gain further knowledge on how to manipulate and cross reference data and present the results in a professional looking format.


Course Content:
● Join Types - Creating temporary joins in a query to analyse data from different perspectives and manipulate existing joins between related tables in order to search for exceptions.
● Action Queries - Using the four different Action Query types: Delete, Update, Append and Make Table. Learn the differences between these four queries and how they affect the tables directly.
● Pivot Table Forms - Allow dynamic changes to the layout of data in order to analyse data in different ways. Learn how to rearrange row and column headings and page fields until you achieve the desired layout.
● Report Wizard - Introduction to building reports using the integral wizard. Work through the process of producing both sequential listings and grouped data on reports.
