What you will study

* Routine vehicle maintenance activities
* Engine units and components
* Auxiliary electrical units and components
* Chassis units and components (including heavy vehicles)
* Inspection of vehicles
* Good housekeeping
* Health & Safety
* Maintenance of positive working relationships
You are also recommended to undertake a Key Skills qualification as employers are keen to recruit people with good number and communication skills.

A mixture of theory and practical work.

How you will be assessed

Continuous assessment in College and at work.

Entry Requirements

You must be in full-time trade related employment. You will also need Level 1 Literacy and Numeracy qualifications. If you do not have these, we can assess your current level of literacy and/or numeracy.
