Suitable for people who already hold the CIM's Professional Certificate, or who have a degree in Marketing or Business with a significant Marketing content, or who can pass the entry test requirements. The course develops a variety of skills at an operational level, one of which is how to write and execute a Marketing plan.

How you will learn
Through interactive sessions including presentations, group work, IT based material and discussion of current Marketing practice through case studies and self-directed study.
How you will be assessed
Through examinations and assignments.
Entry Requirements
CIM Certificate in Marketing or Marketing Practice; a Marketing or Business degree where at least one third of the credits are in Marketing; Edexcel (BTEC) HNC/HND in any subject; NVQ or SVQ Level 3 Marketing; NVQ or SVQ Level 4 in any subject; other appropriate qualifications approved by CIM; three years' marketing management experience which has provided knowledge and competence equivalent to the learning outcomes of the CIM Professional Certificate in Marketing and is sufficient to pass the entry test to the Level 6 Diploma.
Students will need an appropriate level of literacy and numeracy to enable them to meet the requirements of independent study at this level. In the absence of formal qualifications students must be able to demonstrate appropriate levels of numeracy and literacy through the Wakefield College screening process.
