What you will study

As part of this course you will be expected to work towards appropriate Functional Skills qualifications in Maths, English and ICT.
Your Course Structure
Classroom: 55%; Practical: 45%
How you will learn
Through a series of short courses which will include carrying out practical assignments in the College's hairdressing salons, supported by classroom-based theory work.
How you will be assessed
Continuous assessment by theory assignments, written tests, practical work, oral questions and portfolio building. You will have the opportunity to build up your qualifications throughout the year.
Entry Requirements
You will need to have high entry level 3 communication, literacy and numeracy. If you do not have the relevant qualifications we can assess your current level of literacy and numeracy. A successful interview and positive school report will be required.
