Security SIA Door Supervisor Renewal Up-skilling course £90.00 all inclusive - dates every month

It has now been announced that current holders of SIA Door Supervisor Licence that are due for renewal, will now have to take part in additional training as follows:
Level 2 Award in Up-skilling Door Supervisors (QCF).
This will be launched in June 2012, so if you are renewing your licence or due to renew you must then complete the up-skilling course immediately.
The SIA will be producing a statement which makes it a mandatory requirement.
The new qualification comprises of the following mandatory units:
1. Physical Intervention Skills for the Private Security Industry
2. Safety Awareness for Door Supervisors
The new Safety Awareness for Door Supervisors unit of assessment and workbook has been developed to cover the following subjects within the security sector:
1. Counter Terrorism
2. First Aid Awareness
3. Dealing with Children and Young People
There will be a multi choice examination for the module; Safety Awareness for Door Supervisors.
