Dynamic First Aid has highly qualified and experienced instructors to deliver this vital part of pilot/flight crew and cabin training. First aid training can be daunting for many cabin crew - we focus on the practical application and ensure the training is as simple, relevant and informative as possible so the cabin crew feel confident to deal with a medical emergancy.
The legislation detailed in OPS (previously known as JAR OPS) 1.1005, 1.1010, 1.1015 and 1.945 will be covered thoroughly.

Course Content: Cabin Crew (1 Day) - Initial & Refresher
Physiology of Flight including oxygen requirements and hypoxia
Medical Emergencies including:
* Choking
* Stress and Allergic Reactions
* Hyperventilation
* Gastro-Intestinal Disturbance
* Air Sickness
* Epilepsy
* Heart Attacks
* Stroke
* Shock
* Diabetes
* Emergency Childbirth
* Asthma
* Contagious Diseases onboard an aircraft
Basic First Aid and Survival Care Including:
* The Unconscious Casualty
* Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation
* Treatment of Burns and Scalds
* Control of Bleeding
* Fractures and Soft Tissue Injuries
* Travel, Health and Hygiene
First Aid Kit Familiarity with knowledge of the contents of Operator's First Aid Kit.
(AED) Automated External Defibrillator training on the use of AEDs in-flight if required.

Assessment
Their tutor throughout the course will continually assess delegates. At the end of the course assessor(s) will assess delegates twice with their practical skills (CPR & INJURY). Upon successful completion of these assesments the delegate will be awarded an Aviation First Aid certificate which will be valid for one year.
