The Silk Trends Academy ‘Simply Colour, Cuts and Styling’ Course has been designed as an introduction, or taster, into the Hairdressing industry and covers all the essential foundation skills needed for a career in Hairdressing. Class sizes are kept low, max 5 students per session, to ensure you get the support you need.

Duration: 12 weeks (1 evening per week - 6.45pm to 9.45pm)

Cost: £995.00 (normally £1195.00 - saving £200)
The course is delivered as a 3-hour evening course, 1 evening each week for 12 weeks, and is an ideal way to establish whether a career change is appropriate for you. Students who wish to fast-track through their college training will find this course helpful.
The Course content will include:
Health and Safety
Consultation
Shampoo
Blow-drying
Basic Cutting (3 different types of hair cut)
Basic Colouring
Setting, Tonging, Straightening (Thermal Styling)
Long Hair Dressing/Hair-up
On successful completion of the course, students will receive the Silk Trends Academy ‘Simply Colour, Cuts and Styling’ Diploma.
This course is also suitable as a refresher course for returnees to Hairdressing after a long absence.
Our trainer is a qualified and experienced Lecturer of Hairdressing and NVQ Hairdressing Assessor, with over 25 years experience in the hairdressing industry.
All our courses have been designed to the National Hairdressing Standards. On successful completion of your course you will receive a Silk Trends Academy Diploma certificate.
