Duration
The duration of the course is 3 hours. We usually aim to start the course at either, 9.00am, 1.00pm or 5.00pm.

Venue
Courses may be held at your premises. We appreciate that it is sometimes difficult to release staff on training courses, therefore we offer the flexibility to hold the course either in the morning, afternoon or evening, to suit your business requirements. We occasionally run public courses at centralised locations.

Assessment
There is a short multi-choice test at the end of the course. Candidates are required to correctly answer 10 out of 15 questions in order to achieve a Chartered Institute of Environmental Health Level 1 Award in Food Safety in Catering, Retail or Manufacturing.

Entry Qualifications and Progression
There are no entry qualifications for this course. Following this course you might wish to consider the CIEH Level 2 Award in Catering, Retail or Manufacturing.
