Further Details
This workshop examines Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), distinguishing them from other forms of organisational measurement, and provides a framework for identifying the critical few that make the difference. (Many organisations have a massive measurement base. More are added, with no process for removing redundant ones. This workshop will help to address this problem.)
KPIs are an essential tool in understanding how the customer evaluates organisational performance. KPIs are not generic measurements but unique to each organisation. They are different from Process Control measures and from the Balanced Scorecard. Correctly used, they help create a proactive organisation that will march successfully forward, rather than looking backwards at poor performance.
This workshop explores those measurements needed to run a business on a “week by week” or “month by month” basis. It represents measurement of the process outputs and must not be confused with Key Performance Measures, which is about controlling the process inputs. It must also be differentiated from Balanced Business Scorecards, which covers measurement of the business outcomes. (See separate information sheets for both these events.)
