By the end of the Web Accessibility training module, participants will have:
• an overall understanding of accessibility and usability issues
• an understanding of the legal requirements of the Disability Discrimination Act - DDA
• learnt HTML code techniques to make sites accessible
• learnt about page layout issues relating to accessibility
• used online HTML and CSS validators to check code and style sheets; done a Bobby accessibility test; and have an understanding of common validator and Bobby error messages;
• an understanding of Accessibility Levels 1, 2 and 3, and what these mean
• gained knowledge of how to conduct usability tests
