The NEBOSH Construction Certificate in Health and Safety is aimed at responsible people who make day to day decisions in the construction industry. The NEBOSH Construction Certificate provides them with a good foundation in safety management issues to ensure the health and safety implications of their decisions are properly taken into account.
The NEBOSH Construction Certificate is split into 3 units:
Unit 1 (NGC1) - Managment of Health & Safety (the first week of the NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety).
Unit 2 (NCC2) - Managing and Controlling Hazards in Construction Activities
Unit 3 (NCC3) - Construction Health and Safety Practical Application.
Delegates who have already successfully completed Unit 1 of the NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety training course within the last 5 years are exempt from attending Unit 1 (NGC1), if this applies to you please contact us for a quote to attend Unit 2 and 3 only.

NCC3 - Construction Health and Safety Practical Application
The course attendee must carry out a safety inspection of a construction site and write a report.
Successful completion of the NEBOSH Construction Certificate in Health and Safety training course with 5 years health and safety experience leads to Technician status of IOSH (TechIOSH) acompanied by CPD. It is referenced within the Approved Code of Practice (ACOP) for CDM Regulations 2007 as a key knowledge indicator when assessing stage 1 competence for CDM Co-ordinators
