Further Details

This workshop offers a completely new approach to sales and negotiation training. There are many different techniques used to close the deal – but they won’t all suit everyone and the hardest skill to teach is knowing when and with whom to use which technique.

This very practical and fun day gives you the opportunity to experience first-hand how a wide variety of the ‘closing techniques’ work. It also allows you to experiment in a safe and supportive environment and to discover which approaches are best suited to you.

The day takes a drama-based approach to learning, using professional actors and sales experts to demonstrate ‘real life’ situations.

Outline of the Workshop

 Identification of preferred influencing styles and ‘real-life’ situations, issues and barriers

 The role of closing in negotiations

 What characteristics make a ‘good closer’

 Demonstration and evaluation of closing techniques, their uses, pros and cons

 Personal evaluation of techniques to suit your skills and circumstances

 Learning by doing – observation and feedback on delegates styles and techniques

 Personal Action Plans – a format to take back to into the workplace

Benefits of attending – you will leave the event:

 Knowing your preferred influencing style and what situations you find particularly difficult

 Understanding - and having practised - a range of closing techniques

 Equipped with new skills that work for you

 With a Personal Action Plan that you can start to use right away

Who should attend?

This workshop will appeal to anyone who has to negotiate with managers, suppliers, customers or partners (whether in a sales role or not), and who would like to develop their ability to ‘close the deal’.
