High levels of motivation are the key to performance. Yet our understanding of motivation has scarcely advanced for decades. The pioneering work of Michael Apter and research at over 50 universities now offer a radical new approach.

(Risk taking is a simple example of the paradoxical behaviour that results from the web of complex motivations we experience. While our understanding of these behaviours in our private/social lives is improving, it has been very little used or applied in the workplace.)

This highly participative workshop uses Reversal Theory and the Apter Motivational Style Profile to measure the importance to you of the 8 basic - and often conflicting - psychological drivers. Using this profile will help you overcome the normally intangible blocks and constraints on work performance. It will literally liberate you and your team or workgroup. Use the understanding gained from the workshop to rise to new demands and challenges.
