Detailed description :
A one day course looking at what is meant by diversity and how stereotypes, discrimination and prejudice affect society. Exploring our own stereotypes and how these impact on our service delivery. Looking at what may get in the way of service users accessing the service with a variety of different needs and how these can be met.
Ideal for :
People working with directly with the general public who want more information about how they can make their workplaces more accessible e.g volunteer recruitment, course delivery.
What you will gain :
The confidence to talk openly about diversity and how you can assist your workplace in becoming more accessible.
Venue :
