In 1999 local Water Byelaws in England and Wales were replaced by the Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations 1999. This course is designed to update candidates with the relevant information and assess their knowledge.
This one-day course provides an up-to-date knowledge and understanding of the Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations 1999, which is used to control the installation and use of water supply systems.
Successful completion of the assessment also enables candidates to be able to join the Water Industry Approved Plumbers Scheme (WIAPS).

* Requirements of the Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations 1999
* Understanding the requirements of the Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations 1999
* Compliance with the Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations 1999
* Enable WRAS approval on the Water Industry Approved Plumbers Scheme (WIAPS).
* Issuing certificates of work carried out in accordance with the Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations 1999
