Summative assessment techniques are becoming well developed in schools, but real progress can be made when schools focus on formative classroom based approaches. The course will provide practical solutions for tackling both assessment of and assessment for learning. Proven strategies that support whole school assessment systems will be balanced by student level assessment approaches. The important link between learning and assessment will be emphasised throughout the day. Delegates will receive a course pack containing all OHTs used on the day together with key points covered.
