This training programme is designed for individuals at supervisory level or above (e.g. Environmental champions/supervisors/Managers/Directors).
Completion of all 5 specialist workshops leads to an Environmental Academy certificate in Business Efficiency for Environmental Sustainability (Higher Programme) and the option of an ILM (Institute of Leadership and Management) endorsed certificate for a small additional fee to cover costs.
This course has been designed to give practical advice and the tools required to increase your business efficiency, develop a baseline environmental management system and improve profitability at your company.

The course will be delivered via a series of half day sessions and will cover five topics:
Environmental Management Systems (EMS);
Compliance with Environmental Legislation;
Resource Efficiency and Waste Minimisation;
Carbon Footprinting and Energy Management;
Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility.
Learners receive excellent support materials and handouts, designed to both enhance learning and to provide simple tools to implement environmental good practice back in the workplace.
