This is an introductory 1-day course designed to introduce participants to some of the basic skills that are needed to work with clients in a group setting. This course gives participants an insight into the role of the facilitator, the opportunity to practice techniques, and to learn about the processes involved in delivering group based activities. It has been specifically developed for individuals who haven’t delivered group based activities or who have limited experience, and are interested in learning more about what group work involves.
