How does it work?
Youīll take nine units; the units shown below are mandatory and must be taken:
Developing and promoting positive relationships
Developing and maintaining a healthy, safe and secure environment for children Promoting childrenīs development
Reflecting on, and developing, practice
Protecting and promoting childrenīs rights.
There is also a requirement that the learner completes 4 optional units in addition to these.
Who is this course for?
This course is aimed at people who are working in face-to-face roles with children, young people, up to 16 years and families, either supervising others or working unsupervised. It continues your professional development from level 2 and acts as a stepping-stone in your career.
The NVQ Level 3 in Childrenīs Care, Learning and Development course covers practical, work related tasks, which are designed to demonstrate competence at work. Learners must, therefore, be employed for the whole period of the qualification.
