The course covers the following topics:
UK legislation relating to the control of Legionella
What is Legionella and where does it come from?
What are the hazards associated with Legionella and how these can be controlled?
Who is most at risk from Legionella?
The course is mainly classroom based learning with facilitated group discussion and a series of short videos.
At the end of the course delegates complete a multiple choice test paper and receive a certificate of attendance. There is no mandatory re-qualification period but its recommended that a refresher is taken at least every 3 years.
The duration of the course is between: 3 - 4 GLH
