This two-day course provides delegates with a thorough introduction to construction contracts. The course starts with the English legal system to provide the backdrop to contracts. Examples from real contracts are used throughout to illustrate the construction process from design, tendering, construction through to completion and dispute resolution.

Mode of Delivery:
Delegate participation is encouraged and the taught syllabus is reinforced through a series of group exercises. At the end of the course, delegates will be provided with additional course questions for them to use after the course to supplement their learning and CPD. In addition, a reading list will be provided to guide further learning.

Pre-Course Requirements:
As background to the course, delegates will be issued with the details of a genuine construction project that has experienced contractual issues. Questions follow the text to provoke questions in the minds of delegates prior to the course as preparation for the learning at the course.
