An examination of the roles of Employer, Project Manager, Designer, Supervisor, Contractor, Subcontractor and Adjudicator.

Contractor's design and subcontracting
Session 5: Time and the Accepted Programme
Programmes, completion and acceleration
Session 6: Quality
Testing and defects
Session 7: Payment
The payment process, Disallowed Cost and the Schedules of Cost Components
Session 8: Compensation Events
Definition, notification, quotations and assessment
Session 9: Title, Risks and Insurance

Pre-course Requirements:
Delegates are to have a basic understanding of the manner in which construction contracts are carried out
Copies of the NEC: Engineering and Construction Contract (Black Book) and the Guidance Notes (Brown Book) will be available on the course. However, delegates should bring their own copies of these documents if they would like to make notes on these documents for their own use.
