Regular maintenance of the structural integrity, skid resistance and weather proofing of flexible pavements is vital, not only in terms of user safety, comfort and convenience, but significantly that the capital asset is protected.

Aims and Objectives:
To describe the legal duty, physical and economic challenges to maintaining all weather pavement surfaces
To increase knowledge and understanding of a wide range of surface maintenance treatments and their appropriateness and cost effective application, including recycling options
