The Health & Safety Executive (HSE) require that Asbestos Awareness training is provided to all employees whose work activities could potentially expose them to asbestos. This is particularly critical for demolition workers and those in the refurbishment, maintenance and allied trades.
In providing this training to your employees you are ensuring compliance with your statutory obligations under the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 and the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.
OUR COURSES CAN BE TRANSLATED INTO POLISH, RUSSIAN or LATVIAN.
Who should attend?
This course is designed for those who are liable to disturb asbestos while carrying out their normal everyday work activities, or those who may influence how work is carried out.
Plumbers, Electricians, Demolition Workers, Joiners, Builders to name but a few.
What is the objective of this course?
We will ensure all delegates are provided with an awareness and improved knowledge of the hazards and risks posed by asbestos containing materials within their everyday working environment. We will provide an overview of the applicable legislation currently in place and what your obligations are as an employer and your rights as an employee.
All of our trainers have spent many years within the asbestos industry, so can translate legislation into practical experience.
All delegates are given an attendance certificate at the end of the course on the day.
Our courses are designed to be carried out on site at a location suitable to your companies needs. This will then save your employees from vast amounts of travelling to and from a designated training establishment.
