All drivers of dangerous goods (hazardous goods) that come within the scope of the UK CDG (Carriage of Dangerous Goods Regulations) need to have a Vocational Training Certificate (VTC) issued (previously a Hazchem certificate) by D.V.L.A.
The VTC is issued once a driver has satisfactorily completed an approved course.

Training & Development (UK) Ltd is approved by the Driving Standards Agency (DSA) and the Scottish Qualification Authority (SQA) for the training of drivers of vehicles carrying dangerous goods. (Approval No. N242).
Approved for core, packages, tankers, 7 classes (excludes explosives & radio-actives.
Course duration is between 3 and 5 days depending on the number of modules taken.
Multiple choice exam for each module.
The course can be delivered at employers premises (conditions apply)
