This highly acclaimed course can be delivered at a venue of choice for a minimum of 6 people. It provides a nationally accredited qualification for anyone new to mentoring or who wish to endorse their work as a mentor.
Full Mentoring Award: Level 2 (6 credits)

Understand what is meant by ‘mentoring’;
Understand the need to respect individuality and difference within the mentoring relationship;
Know the stages of the ‘mentoring’ relationship;
Find a range of techniques to make mentees feel comfortable and at ease;
Know the boundaries of a mentoring relationship;
Know when and to whom referrals should be made;
Use mentoring skills and demonstrate good practice.
