Training takes place in our training salon in NW London.
This course is the continuation of your make-up artist training, and we require you to have achieved your Foundation Make-Up Artist Certificate before enrolling. We will consider applicants who have received previous make-up training from another institution or training provider.
We will cover all aspects of professional make-up applications for occasions, fashion and professional photographs. This means that you will be armed with the skills to work as a make-up artist on almost any project - whether it is for a bride, a catwalk or photoshoot.
The course focuses on the advanced skills which enable you to start your career as a make-up artist immediately.
To help you kick start your career from the off set, you may enrol in our Professional Make-Up Artist course where we will compliment your training with free professional brush set which is approved by NVQ standards, as well as a free airbrushed photo of your work so that you can start building your portfolio.a free airbrushed photo of your work so that you can start building your portfolio.

Advanced Make-Up Artist Certificate 2 days £860
You will be given a Training Manual.
The course will cover the following in detail:
Blusher, Bronzer, Sculpting & Shading
You will learn how to sculpt and shade the face to enhance different features and to create different effects. For example, camouflaging a double chin, lifting cheekbones etc.
Photographic Make-Up
We will teach how professional lighting and camera's affect you as a make-up artist and you will learn how to create a series of looks using techniques suitable for professional lighting and cameras.

Catwalk Make-Up
Catwalk make-up uses skills which ensure that the make-up is effective under professional lighting and can be seen from a distance, as well as in professional photographs.
We will work with your creative flair to create looks which match themes as well as learning how to apply make-up in just minutes - the skills you need in order to be a part of the busy professional catwalk make-up team.
Finishing
You will learn how to apply finishing touches to your make-up to ensure a professional finish.
Future Development as a Make-Up Artist
Your Training Manual will include a section on things like tips, recommended reading, building your kit and more, which will help you during your career as a make-up artist.
Assessment & Photoshoot
You will be asked to create 2 looks based on the skills you have learnt. You will receive our one to one attention so that you receive honest feedback in order to make you the best make-up artist you can be.
Your assessment is not there to catch you out, but instead will prove that you are ready to launch your career as a professional make-up artist. Most make-up courses only provide a certificate for simply attending, but our assessments mean that your certificate actually means you are good at what you do. You can take it to any employer or client, and give them instant confidence in your skills and abilities.
