Aromatherapy (Specialist Treatments)
This course is for qualified Aromatherapists who would like to widen their knowledge and work with some of the more challenging conditions where the therapy can help to restore body and mind to a condition of health and wellbeing. The course also includes more detailed information on the chemical constituents and medicinal properties and use of Essential Oils in a range of preparations, which therapists can then use to good effect in their own practice.

Disease States, including: ME, Skin Conditions, Cystic Fibrosis & many more
Emotional States, including SAD, Anxiety, Depression & Grief
Chemical constituents of essential oils
Essential oils in creams, baths, poultices, inhalations, massage oil
Medicinal qualities of chemical groups
Full range of carrier oils and beneficial qualities
Students obtaining 70% or more marks in the final examination will be awarded the BSY Professional Certificate of Merit in Aromatherapy Specialist Treatments.
