The Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH) & Royal Society of Health (RSH) have designed basic courses to give employers and employees who directly and indirectly work with food and beverages and insight into the importance of good food hygiene practices. The Department of Health recognises both the RSH and CIEH basic level courses. This course is suitable for anyone who wishes to gain basic knowledge of food hygiene, and is the minimum recommended course for all persons involved with food and beverages.
Basic Food Hygiene certificates by either the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health or the Royal Society of Health.
