Communication aims to encourage learners to develop and demonstrate their ability in speaking, listening, reading and writing skills (including using images) for different purposes. The modules are primarily concerned with developing and recognising the students ability to communicate in ways that are appropriate to the student's particular employment or other studies.
The syllabus covers essential skills such as reading, writing and discussing. However it also includes the skills of application, such as deciding on the relevance and quality of information.
