The course is designed to give the delegate a background knowledge of the responsibilities of the “Appointed Person”, it should be remembered that “Appointed Persons” are not fully qualified first aiders, they may only administer treatment based on training that they have received.
Core Skills include;
· H.S.E Legislation in the workplace,
· Management of Incidents,
· Recognition and treatment of Wounds,
· Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation,
· Recognition and treatment of Fractures.
Carter's Safety Training Service will train your associates on site, or at a venue nearby. We are a small customer focused team that works with the employer to deliver the most cost effective solution.
We provide the following as standard;
¨ The latest Hygienic CPR Traiing Manikins, with single use face / lung bags, eliminating cross contamination and allergic reactions to sanitising agents during training.
¨ A C.P.R training manikin ratio of one per student (Many companies utilise one manikin between 3 or 4 delegates!) enabling maximum hands on training and knowledge retention.
¨ Email support for all delegates for the duration of their qualification period, enabling your first aiders to seek clarification or advice on First Aid protocols or treatment.
