CIEH Level 2 Health and Safety in the Workplace
No prior knowledge is required. This new qualification is designed to ensure that all employees are aware of their own safety and the safety of customers, contractors and the public. It is applicable in any private or public sector environment.

Course Content
You will learn through short-topic lectures covering the principles of occupational health and safety and how to apply this in the workplace. The course will take you to level two level of competence.

Equipment or Materials needed for the course will be supplied and this will include a comprehensive textbook issued by CIEH

Assessment Details
There is a multiple-choice examination (available in some other languages) which is taken at the end of the day.
For people with learning difficulties a spoken form of the examination is also available. Please contact us for details.
After passing the examination in approximately 8 weeks you will receive a CIEH Certificate Level 2 Award Health and Safety in the Workplace. This certificate will be valid for three years.

This course is intended for:
Anyone who has responsibility for health and safety in the workplace. All levels of employees and employers. This course replaces the Foundation Certificate in H&S.
