Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (Adults) For England
The aim of this qualification is to contribute to the skills, knowledge and overall performance of the Care industry. It provides an insight into the principles and processes of the delivery of health and social care to clients and will aid career progression.The focus of this NVQ is to carry out tasks for people that may be temporarily or permanently unable to do for themselves.
The Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care is about the delivery of health and social care to clients. This includes direct care, where the focus is hands-on care and on the development and maintenance of the client’s independence.
The qualification is designed for those people who are involved in delivering physical, emotional or enabling care to clients who have a high degree of dependency, whether in health or social care, or in the public, private or voluntary sectors. You will be expected to complete the award within two years of starting
Candidates must take a total of 8 units to achieve this NVQ. All candidates should take four core and four optional units. The mandatory units are:
