The bathroom installation course is a basic 5 day course designed to teach the learner how to completely decommission and install a new bathroom suite. On completion, candidates will receive an OCN accreditation or an in-house certificate.

Day 1:
Demonstrate how to plan a bathroom to scale
Learners to draw a scale plan of a bathroom
Lecture on showers using the Mira showers DVD
Measure and mark out for bathroom 1st fix
Drill and plug and fix clipping for pipe work for 1st fix
Day 2:
Make first fix/carcus of copper pipe work.
Pressure test the first fix /carcus under Industry standards for
pressure testing
Solve any leaks from first fix/carcus
Demonstrate how to make up the bathroom suite
Day 3:
Commence Installation of the bathroom suite
Connect copper pipe work from the service valves to the taps and ballvalve
Connect waste and soil pipes as required
Day 4:
continue to fit bathroom suite
commission as progression
Day 5:
Recheck all pipe work and fittings
Fix any leaks.
Bathroom fitting Complete.
Decommission bathroom suite
Clean area and return all materials and tools to the stores
