This course teaches general awareness about basic food hygiene practice. It is suitable for food handlers (including managers) who are in need of refresher training. The talk is also suitable for Social and Health Care employees and volunteers who have had no food safety training before or need refresher training.
The qualification covers the following topics:
• Cleaning
• Cooking
• Chilling
• Course structure and design
• Personal hygiene
Please note that this is not an accredited Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering course. The programme is designed to raise awareness or act as refresher training. An attendance certificate is provided.

Courses are held at the Council’s training venue in central London. In-house courses can be arranged for a minimum of 8 people.
