Prerequisites
To successfully complete your exams, you should have at least three years’ experience as a tier-2 or lead desktop support technician.
You should also be able to:

Manage workflow
Install, configure and troubleshoot desktop operating systems, applications, and networking and connectivity
Install, configure and troubleshoot hardware devices and drivers (including mobile and personal devices)
Escalate complex issues to the appropriate administrator (e.g. server, network or desktop configuration administrator)
Install and test department-specific and line-of-business (LOB) applications on end-user computers
Change desktop configurations
Re-image desktops.
