Technical requirements and fees
CACHE registration and test centre fees are additional to course fees. Assessment centre are in mainland UK only. A formal placement is not required however you may find it useful to have access to a childcare setting, even if on a voluntary basis.

Outline
You’ll complete one assessment for each of the four units, meaning that you will sit four assessments in total.
Assessment Breakdown
Assessment 1: an assignment set by CACHE and marked by your tutor
Assessment 2: 25 multiple choice questions set and marked by CACHE and which must be completed at a CACHE accredited testing centre. The assessment will be completed on a computer.
Assessment 3: an assignment set by CACHE and marked by your tutor
Assessment 4: an assignment set by CACHE and marked by your tutor
Notes
ICS will provide you with a sample multiple choice question paper, helping you to prepare for Assessment 2.
Please be aware that for Assessment 2 you will be required to pay an assessment fee.
