Outline
The Microsoft Office 2000 Specialist certification is made up of five exams. However, only one exam needs to be passed to become certified as a Microsoft Office 2000 Specialist. Nevertheless, it is recommended that you sit and pass all five exams, because each pass proves your ability to work with a different program in the Microsoft Office suite.
The ICS course material also introduces you to the knowledge you need to become Specialist (Expert) certified, which is a step above basic Specialist certification. The Microsoft Office 2000 Specialist (Expert) certification is made up of two exams. Again, only one exam needs to be passed to become certified as a Microsoft Office 2000 Specialist (Expert). However, by passing both exams, you will prove your ability to be able to work proficiently with both Word and Excel.
Additionally, please note that if you pass Word 2000 Expert, Excel 2000 Expert, PowerPoint 2000 and EITHER Access 2000 OR Outlook 2000, you will achieve Microsoft Office Specialist (Master) certification.
