This certification is designed for professionals with a background in computers and networking. The typical Server+ Firebrand Training candidate will be working in a network or system administration position, or be moving into such a position upon entering the workforce after an undergraduate degree program.Other training providers rely heavily on lecture, self-testing and self-study.

CompTIA - Server+ Certification - Curriculum

CompTIA - Server+ Certification - Exam Track
The CompTIA Server+ certification exam is targeted at professionals with at least 18 months of installing and troubleshooting and a thorough knowledge of Network+. Professionals who want to certify their advanced technical knowledge in areas such as RAID, SCSI, multiple CPUs and the like, should consider this certification.
It is recommended that the Server+ test candidate have the knowledge and skills equivalent of those tested for in the CompTIA A+ and Network+ certification exams.
Taking the Exam
The Server+ exam consists of 80 questions to be completed in 90 minutes. The minimum passing score is 75%. Test results are displayed as soon as you complete the exam.

Examination Passing Policy
Should a student complete a Firebrand Training Program without having successfully passed all vendor examinations, the student may re-attend that program for a period of one year.  Students will only be responsible for accommodations and vendor exam fees.








CompTIA - Server+ Certification - Prerequisites
Students who are successful in the CompTIA Server+ Certification Firebrand Training should possess:

• The ability to identify the basic components of networks and their roles, including routers, hubs, switches, and file servers.


• A basic understanding of the OSI Model and TCP/IP.

We interview all applicants for the course on their technical background, degrees and certifications held, and general suitability. If you get through this screening process, it means you stand a great chance of passing.
Firebrand Training is an immersive training environment. You must be committed to the course. The above prerequisites are guidelines, but many students with less experience have other background or traits that have enabled their success in accelerated training through Firebrand Training.
