The BCI Certificate is an internationally recognised qualification endorsed by The Business Continuity Institute. Candidates who successfully pass The BCI Certificate will be entitled to use the post nominal credential CBCI.
The course is suited to those with business continuity responsibilities requiring an understanding of the theoretical framework and practical issues surrounding business continuity. The course also assists organisations seeking to comply with emerging international standards.

BCI - The BCI Certificate - Exam Track
The examination, which is taken independent of the course, lasts 2 hours and contains 120 multi choice questions. Passing the Certificate Examination is a mandatory requirement for anyone seeking Associate (ABCI), Specialist (SBCI) or Member (MBCI) membership of the BCI.

Examination Passing Policy
Should a student complete a Firebrand Training Program without having successfully passed all vendor examinations, the student may re-attend that program for a period of one year.  Students will only be responsible for accommodations and vendor exam fees.








BCI - The BCI Certificate - Prerequisites
No previous business continuity experience is necessary however it is recommended that participants should have a minimum of one year experience working in a business environment and have an understanding of the key activities and functions within their organisation.We interview all applicants for the course on their technical background, degrees and certifications held, and general suitability. If you get through this screening process, it means you stand a great chance of passing.
Firebrand Training is an immersive training environment. You must be committed to the course. The above prerequisites are guidelines, but many students with less experience have other background or traits that have enabled their success in accelerated training through Firebrand Training.
