Study Method
This course can be studied at your own pace from the comfort of your own home. There are no deadlines for assignments however you must complete the full course within 12 months from the date you received the course.
Assessment
This course, which is a recognised level 2 award, is gained through completing a short series of written assignments plus a multi-choice style end-test. There is no word count for these assignments, however you must prove to your tutor that you have fully understood the question. There is no final exam.
Support
As a student of UK Open Learning you will get full tutor support by a qualified tutor by e-mail and post for a full 12 months after you have received the course.
To complete the course it will take in the region of 90 study hours, which can be spread over a 12 month period.
Qualification
On successful completion of the assignments students will receive a OCN Level 1 Award in Care Skills + a UK Open Learning Certificate.
