This programme is designed for people seeking to understand and apply the principles of managing staff and resources in a variety of businesses. The course is particularly suited to the general manager with responsibility for a small organisation or a department, needing a broad understanding of management techniques.
Study Method
The course is designed for study by distance learning at work or at home. Students receive course manual, assignments and studyguide plus tutor support by mail and email.
Timescale
To complete this course it will take in the region of 90 study hours which can be spread over a 12 month time period.
Tutor Support
You will receive full tutor support for a full year from the day you receive the course by e-mail and post.
Assessment
Assessment takes the form of a series of tutor marked assignments. You complete these assignments and send them to your tutor for marking. There is no word count, however you do have to prove to your tutor that you have fully understood the question asked, one sentence answers will be rejected.
Qualification
On successful completion of this course, students will receive a OCN Level 2 in Business Management plus a UK Open Learning Certificate.
