Entertainment and Music Noise Assessment Workshop
This course is suitable for anyone including Health and Safety professionals, Environmental Health Practitioners and Technical Officers who need to evaluate noise exposures in pubs, clubs and other entertainment venues under the Control of Noise at Work Regulations 2005 (CoNaW) regulations.
CoNaWR have applied to the music industry since April 2008. Applying these new regulations is a challenging task as it requires a seismic shift in attitude and practice across the industry.

This practical workshop is based on extracts from the 3 day IOSH Entertainment Industry Noise competency course. It is highly practical and entertaining and provides you with the skills and knowledge you need to make the process as simple and effective as possible. the course includes:
* The risks to hearing in pubs, clubs and other venues
* Accurate noise measurement - under difficult conditions
* Evaluating employee noise dose against the regulatory Action Levels - converting measured levels to daily and weekly noise exposures
* Risk management options
Multi-media case studies are used throughout to illustrate the main points.
