The Swedish Massage Course is suitable for students with little or no prior knowledge of Bodywork. It is hands-on, practical and theoretical. The Swedish Massage module is taken in conjunction with the Anatomy and Physiology module.
The maximum number of participants is four, this allows for personal time to be spent each day with the student on a one to one level. During this session, the tutor is able to monitor the standard of massage techniques, correct faults before they become habitual, answer questions, and discuss any problems as they arise. The philosophy of Hands-on-Workshops is to be as fully available and approachable as possible throughout the course.
AIMS & OBJECTIVES:
To be able to offer Swedish Massage as a professional therapy to the fee paying public.
This intensive training course is held over two days, with a commitment to home study and practice.
This course is fully insurable and accredited with the CMA and carries 40 CPD points
A practical assessment, plus multiple choice questionnaire will complete the course on the final day.
Hands-on-Workshops Healing Institute Established 1990 Offer training that is fully insurable and accredited by the CMA and IPTI. Practical, hands-on training days with CPD points. Validated for insurance purposes. Also included within the training will be history and philosophy relating to the therapy, Health and Safety and Client ethics.
The cost includes refreshments, comprehensive course manual and practitioners’ certificate.
After completion, you will have the opportunity to advance towards the VTCT Internationaly recognised diploma. This may be taken online.

start. expect to finish 4.30pm approx.
CLOTHING: Please wear loose, casual clothing as you will be expected to both give and receive the massage. please be aware that oil may come into contact with your clothing
