The Purple Turtle Therapy Pregnancy Massage Course is a Continued Professional Development course (CPD) for qualified therapists. All Purple Turtle Therapy courses are Federation of Holistic Therapist (FHT) approved. Learn how to work safely on pregnant clients with confidence, enhance your skills and work within the limits of your insurance.
The Pregnancy Massage course combines theory and practical learning and the course content includes:
* Anatomy and Physiology in Pregnancy including common pre-natal conditions
* Couch etiquette and massage positioning for couch massage and seated massage
* Client consultation and contra-indications
* Carrier oils and Essential oils
* Massage techniques for Pregnancy
All equipment, couches and oils are provided and a course handbook is included to accompany the course.
Courses are for one day and classes are kept to a maximum of 6 students to allow for individual attention and thorough learning.
This course is accredited with the Federation of Holistic Therapists (www.fht.org.uk). A CPD certificate will be awarded on successful completion of this course and is awarded 5 CPD points. Therapists attending the course must hold a valid qualification in Massage.
The course costs £95. FHT members can receive a 10% discount on production of a valid FHT membership number/card. See below for course dates and times.
The course is taught by a qualified tutor with over 7 years teaching experience in a vast range of Holistic Therapies and a passion for sharing knowledge. The tutor is a professional therapist and mother whose specialty is Pregnancy and Infant Massage.
