Using a Defibrillator Including Basic Life Support
This 3 ˝ to 4 hour course will give delegates the skills and knowledge of how to use an automated external defibrillator. It also covers the skills they need to provide basic life support, or cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR), to the standards laid down by the UK & European Resuscitation Protocols.
It is a highly participative course with a strong practical element. Our trainers can accommodate up to 12 delegates on each course, but if delegates have not trained in AED before we would reccomend that you keep to a maximum of 6.
This course includes; Basic life support: Adults, Babies & Children, How to use an automated external defibrillator, How to maintain an AED. Upon successful competition, each delegate will receive a certificate of attendance, valid for 1 year.
This course is available at your own workplace for groups.
