Software Testing Foundation

Software Testing Foundation provides participants with a good basic understanding of the principles of software testing and prepares them to sit the ISEB Foundation Certificate in Software Testing. This certificate is now a de facto requirement for anybody working in, or wishing to work in software testing. It covers the fundamentals of testing, life cycles, static testing, test design techniques, test management and computer aided tools for testing.

Anyone sitting the ISEB Foundation examination with AssistKD will also be certified under ISTQB. To help participants prepare for the examination, the course features a significant number of practical exercises and also includes a mock examination. A comprehensive course manual, including exercises and specimen questions and solutions is also provided.
This course prepares participants to sit the examination leading to the ISEB Foundation Certificate in Software Testing, which takes place at the end of the course. This involves a one-hour, multiple choice examination. The ISEB Foundation Certificate in Software Testing is a specialist module for the ISEB Diploma in Systems Development .
